Thicker cloud cover this morning,will brings us some light rain for a little while this morning. . Otherwise, more of the same today, high clouds and highs near 70 or warmer. We will need lady luck to see the eclipse this evening. Cloudy or not, OMSI will host a viewing party. Remember, do not view the eclipse without the recommended safety glasses. Viewing begins at 5:04 p.m.

Wet weather returns Monday. Forecast charts give Portland .25 - .50 inches of rain. A period of steady rain is expected. Likely showers Tuesday. And temperatures next week will drop back into the 60s.
